Our Story
High School Beginnings
If you had told us we would be marrying someone from our maths class in high school, we would have laughed!! No way have we already met our husband/wife! Life is so funny!!!
We would only reunite once every other year, courtesy of our mutual friend Jake (our groomsman) having a shout for his birthday. The people would supposedly see a spark we couldn’t see - It is there, they would insist.

The Catch Ups
Fast forward to 2019, when again, Jake (man was working overtime to confirm his beliefs that we liked each other) hosted a leaving do. Jake reintroduced us, and Lindo mentioned we should catch up since everyone else has left Manchester. I thought she was joking - one of those polite gestures of ‘we should catch up’, but it never usually happens. But, no… Lindo, a woman who always follows through, arranged the catch-up.
We would then spend the next few catch-ups in restaurants (that woman loves her food), where we would politely be kicked out! I thought I was a yapper until I spoke to her.
Catching Feelings
Meanwhile, our friends were now acting like detectives, saying they had cracked the case! “No one catches up this much with just one person and remains friends. You guys are dating!”
What?! Dating? No way. But hey ho! It was too late, I knew I had caught feelings and had to let her know I’ve fallen!
Does this mean I’ll be ‘bringing the cows home?' Paying lobola? (If you know, you know).

After confessing my feelings, it turns out she felt the same, and the rest is history in the making! We can’t wait to celebrate with you as we embark on our marriage!
Asambe Asambe!!! (Let’s go!!!)
P.S. I like American Football, which means she likes the NFL too!
She Feels The Same
